Chapters are like onions.

A chapter isn't written once. It's outlined, drafted, edited, read by betas, and released, and every one of those is a layer. You don't need seven apps to get it there. You need one place where a chapter goes through the whole cycle.

Writer sideCHAPTER LAYERS

Every corner of your chapter in one place.

These are your chapter layers. Each one is a draft or a work in progress along the way: notes, outline, beats, dialogue, draft, polish, and the bonus layers your top tiers unlock. The badge on a layer says who gets to read it. Keep scrolling and the rest of the app comes into view around it.

Reader sideREADERS

Decide who reads chapter seven.

We take 0% of reader subscriptions. That means you have full control over your community. You could even gift everyone diamond++ super max for a month.

Writer sideREADERSHIP

Find readers who don't know you yet.

Reach people with similar interests and supplement your readership's growth with new traffic channels.

Writer sideFEEDBACK

Get human eyes on your words.

Nothing beats the feedback you can get from your peers, and we make it easy for you to bring everyone together into one page.

Writer sideFOLI

Make editing fun again.

Run a POV check, an adverb sweep, a dialogue attribution pass — or a full read from your reader's perspective. Foli's findings land as comments in the margin or in-text as suggestions. The voice on the page stays the sum of your choices.

Writer sideBIBLE

Write novels too big for your head.

Foli files your prose and chat discussions into a chapter-honest bible. Confess Gustavo the Great is terrified of thunder and it lands under Vulnerabilities, because our hero acts like a wet cat when lightning strikes. The bible's knowledge of him grows with the book, and when Foli answers from chapter three she only knows what chapter three knew.

Writer sideDRAFT

Lock the door. The world goes quiet.

Focus mode clears the chrome: rail, comments, margins. Your layers stay one tap away. Seven themes, each in light and dark, to write in. A notes drawer opens without leaving the page. You and the chapter.

We know you have some questions.

Do I have to publish or monetize?

No. Publishing is a decision you make one chapter at a time, and it is off until you make it. A project can stay private for its whole life, and plenty do: the layers, the bible, and Foli work exactly the same on a book nobody has read yet.

You do, including the lines Foli drafts at your request. We claim no ownership of your chapters, your bible, or your notes. The only licence you give us is the one it takes to store your work, run the AI features you ask for, and show published chapters to the readers you chose.

You. Subscriptions are sold through your own Stripe account, you are the merchant of record, and we take no cut of reader revenue. Your readers are your list, not ours, and if you leave they get a notice so they can follow you wherever you go next.

You leave with everything. Export any manuscript as DOCX, EPUB, PDF, RTF, ODT, or Markdown, and your subscribers get a notice so the audience you built comes with you. Nothing is held back to make leaving harder than joining.

No. Every model in the picker comes from a provider whose terms forbid training on submitted content, and a model that stops meeting that bar comes off the menu rather than getting a warning label. We do not train on your work ourselves, and we do not license it to anyone who would.

Yes, two ways. Foli is the writer in your margin; the model is the engine you put behind it. Choose from OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI, and change your mind per request, so a quick continuity check can ride a cheap fast model while the chapter that matters gets the expensive one. You can also connect your workspace to Claude or ChatGPT, and either one can read and edit the same chapters from its own app. Foli is still the one that lives in the draft, sees your layers, reads the margin, and knows the bible, so a connector is another pair of hands on the same book rather than a second place to keep it.

It is everything your book has already established: characters, places, rules, and the small facts you will not remember by chapter forty. It fills itself in as Foli reads your chapters, you correct it where it guesses wrong, and Foli checks against it on every pass. That is how the contradiction gets caught before a reader posts it in the comments.

Invite them by email and they get a link to the chapters you shared, and nothing else. They argue in the margin next to the sentence that caused it, you answer in the same thread, and an editor can leave track changes you accept or reject one by one. The feedback stays beside the draft instead of scattering across email and chat.

Credits track what the model actually costs, pegged to the dollar with no invented exchange rate. Every pass Foli runs lands in your ledger with the model it used and what it cost, so the bill is never a mystery, and heavier work simply costs more than a quick one.

Yes. Bring in chapters you have already written and keep going from where you stopped. Foli reads what you import and starts building the bible out of it, so a book that began in Word or Docs arrives with its continuity already mapped.

Docs is where you write with people. Scrivener is where you write alone. Writefolio is both, and it keeps working after the draft is done: an AI that knows your bible, betas arguing in the margin, a release schedule, and readers who pay you directly.
