Chapters are like onions.

A chapter isn't written once. It's outlined, drafted, edited, read by betas, and released, and every one of those is a layer. You don't need seven apps to get it there. You need one place where a chapter goes through the whole cycle.

Writer sideCHAPTER LAYERS

Every corner of your chapter in one place.

These are your chapter layers. Each one is a draft or a work in progress along the way: notes, outline, beats, dialogue, draft, polish, and the bonus layers your top tiers unlock. The badge on a layer says who gets to read it. Keep scrolling and the rest of the app comes into view around it.

Writer sideREADERSHIP

Find readers who don't know you yet.

Reach people with similar interests and supplement your readership's growth with new traffic channels.

Reader sideREADERS

Decide who reads chapter seven.

We take 0% of reader subscriptions. That means you have full control over your community. You could even gift everyone diamond++ super max for a month.

Writer sideDRAFT

Show up, and see it.

Set a goal, watch the days fill in, and keep the streak going.

Writer sideFEEDBACK

Get human eyes on your words.

Nothing beats the feedback you can get from your peers, and we make it easy for you to bring everyone together into one page.

Writer sideFOLI

An audiobook, the day the chapter drops.

Audiobooks used to arrive a year late and cost a studio. Now the chapter you release on Friday ships with a reading the same day, cast from your own bible: Gustavo in his voice, Alice in hers, a narrator between them. Readers press play on the commute and the page follows word by word. One more reason to subscribe, and a tier worth paying for.

Writer sideBIBLE

Never lose the plot.

Most of a chapter happens before you type a word: who wants what, who is lying, what the lantern is for. That thinking usually dies on a napkin. A canvas keeps it inside the chapter as index cards with arrows between them, and a tag on a card ties it to the character's bible. Send it, and Gustavo's bible remembers what you planned for him, so Foli, your betas and chapter forty all know it too.

We know you have some questions.

Can I keep posting on Royal Road or Scribble Hub?

Yes. Your chapters are yours and writefolio asks for no exclusivity, so publish wherever your readers are. Some programs on other sites do ask for exclusivity, so check theirs.

Each chapter releases to each tier on its own schedule: supporters first, then everyone. Readers get an email when a chapter they can read goes out.

Yes. Your public chapters are open pages that search engines can find, and readers can clip your best lines and share them.

Nothing. Free tiers and public chapters are on the free plan. Paid tiers come with Pro, and we take 0% of what readers pay.

No. Publishing is a decision you make one chapter at a time, and it is off until you make it. A project can stay private for its whole life, and plenty do: the layers, the bible, and Foli work exactly the same on a book nobody has read yet.

You. Subscriptions are sold through your own Stripe account, you are the merchant of record, and we take no cut of reader revenue. Your readers are your list, not ours, and if you leave they get a notice so they can follow you wherever you go next.

You leave with everything. Export any manuscript as DOCX, EPUB, PDF, RTF, ODT, or Markdown, and your subscribers get a notice so the audience you built comes with you. Nothing is held back to make leaving harder than joining.

Yes. Bring in chapters you have already written and keep going from where you stopped. Foli reads what you import and starts building the bible out of it, so a book that began in Word or Docs arrives with its continuity already mapped.

Your story has been waiting.
